God's Blessings and walking in FAITH!

So I know I have dragged my feet with updating my blog but we have had so many changes and blessings within the last month or so!  Well...all I can say is that when we ask God for something....be ready to move when he says move!  Also realize that God may not answer the way you want but be willing to be obedient and walk in faith. (That will be my up coming bible study blog theme-Discerning God's Voice)

Marcus and I  have been praying for a year or so about expanding our family, better careers, moving closer to the south, working on our finances, and getting closer to God.  Well the good Lord is working in our lives and showing us that we have to wait on Him, be patient, and walk in faith.  All I can say is that my husband had a phone interview, in-person interview, and job offer all in 3 days.  (Like my little cousins Renay easter speech said "3 days that changed the world")  See how God works...He amazes us all the time.  We were just imagining the day when things would start to fall into place and now we are taking steps to walk towards God's blessings for us.  So we are moving to Nashville, TN at the end of the month.

So the Evans' are starting a new chapter in our lives from relocating to TN, new careers, new baby, and opportunities for God to show up and show out in our lives.  Now, the enemy has been busy trying to get us off track, but we are holding on to God and know that all will work out.  I'm speaking a new career for myself, great education for my children, and financial growth.  We know that things will be hard at the beginning from transitioning to a one-income family but I know that with the Lord on our side we will be okay.  God is testing us and looking to see if we are going to walk in faith and just allow him to move and that is what we are doing.  I always say that "Short term sacrifices...lead to Long term gains!"

So continue to keep us in your prayers and I look forward to updating with our future blessings!
