Hello Fam and Friends! Wanted to stop by and let everyone know that we are doing well in Nashville! We are having a great summer....which will soon be coming to an end! :) But on to the wonderful Fall...great time to be outside, football, fairs, and leaves.
Well, the boys have been doing great...keeping us busy and on our toes. My day is spent trying to keep them entertain, change diapers, feedings, learning activities, playings, etc....and get to do it all over again...what a blessing. Braylon is truly a character and some days I'm amazed at how much he has grown and his vocabulary. Sometimes I wonder where he gets these thoughts....it so funny and there are times I have to correct him because he like to use words He really don't know the meaning of. Kaleb is doing great! Battle a little stuffiness/congestion for a few weeks as well as our first G-tube accident. His mic-key button came out while we were at my parents, but we were able to get his backup in until we got to Nashville. We had to have a 6 hour trip to the ER for a mic-key button that only took 20 mins to get in. However, I'm thankful that it wasn't a major issue and were able to get back home. We are still battling trying to get him to bottle feed more and drink his formula but he isn't having it. We did switch to ready to feed so I'm trying that....had one day of success with a full bottle but not much since then. So we will be working with his doctors to figure out a plan. I pray that we can come up with something because I don't want him to be dependent on the feeding tube...but I've given that to God as well.
As for me and the hubby, we have committed to a 60 day challenge (August 1 - Sept 30) to give God our best spiritually, physically, and personally. I must say that our first five days have been amazing and we want this challenge to jumpstart our new walk in Christ, marriage, and family. We look forward to each day and we are praying daily for strength and the renewing of our minds.
We will also be celebrating some birthdays this upcoming months. Kaleb will be 1 on August 29th and Marcus will be 30 on September 15th....so we have some great things to celebrate! I look forward to posting about Kaleb's first birthday and Marcus hitting the Big 3 0.
I pray all is well with everyone! Remember to take your eyes off of your circumstances and focus on God...He has the rest under control. I love you all! Night!
