Everyone provided some great feedback and we discuss personal testimonies, what's going on in the world, etc. to relate back to the scriptures. The key for me today is that our focus should be on Jesus Christ. Initially, God gave us his law (through Moses) as a guardian to help us navigate and follow his word, but the scriptures reveal the when he sent Christ that guardian is no longer needed. Christians today have to realize that we can't get caught up in the world, rules, etc...but get our mind on Christ.
Thomas (my bronlaw) had a good expression that he got from Suzsan Orman (I believe) that stated the "I'm not impressed." The significance of this three word quote is that when we allow satan to disturb our thoughts and actions we are telling him that we are impressed. However, let's not give him power but during those times let's say "I'm not impressed" and Satan you can keep on getting up because you will not dwell here.
We always open/close with a word of prayer and go over our prayer requests/praise reports which I've listed below and would like to keep in prayer. We know that we can speak anything into existence when we activate our faith! Can't wait until next week discussion!

Keep doing these. It really inspires others to pick up the bible and read.
