Today we received an awesome surprise....Our nurse Ms. Bonnie came over and was like..."You want to hold your baby?" I was thinking the usual way through the incubator but she brought over a gown. I was so excited to finally hold my baby. It was an amazing experience to have that bonding time and to be able to have skin to skin contact. Kaleb did so well and I believe he enjoyed it as much as I did. We can't wait for future times together and next time it will be daddy's turn...lol.
As for updates on him, Kaleb is currently 2 lbs and 2 ozs and doing good. His sodium levels did drop last night and the doctors have ordered to increase his sodium in his feedings and prayfully that will help. Overall, he is doing good and we continue to pray over him. Thanks for all the prayers and support! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Awww...its great seeing you all enjoying the times you have with little Kaleb. I know he enjoyed it as much as you did because he was able to hear your heart beat like he did when he was on the inside. God knows exactly what to do in those times and he set that part up to give little "K" a boost of energy. LOL!! Continue to do well, and we'll continue to pray.
Awww I love these pics! Especially the one where he's on your chest. I used to love the kangaroo care with Christian! It's so precious how Kaleb has his little hand on your chest! Yall are always in my thoughts and prayers!
