Another round of blood.....

So after calling the NICU last night....the doctor informed us that kaleb heart rate had been pretty high most of the evening and he looked rather tired. So she did some lab work to check blood level and for infections. His blood work came back low so they gave him another blood transfusion (3rd) and as of this morning his levels were up but not as high as they like. So he will be getting a 4th tonight. His other lab work came back fine with normal results...thank God. She also ordered a kidney ultrasound to check protein level which he is getting protein in his feedings and she wants to rule out if that is an issue. While visiting him today...he was doing great and breathing well on lower oxygen levels. He has a new style...rhino head..lol. The nurse put his IV in his scalp so the way they have it wrapped it looks like a little rhino horn...but the most important thing is that he is doing well. Pray fully the doctors will have results tomorrow morning and more info. I'm just thanking God for this day and allowing him to do well...tomorrow holds it's own worries. So while I'm blessed with him today..I'll love on him and continue to speak favor over him. Thank you in advance for all the prayers...be blessed!
