Our little fighter...

Well today has been a roller coaster but we are making it. Last night kaleb was put back on the ventilator due to having so many spells and he was taking very shallow breaths. He went 10 days off the vent and wore himself out. I must say that I was very scared to hear of the news and worried. Especially after seeing him this morning with all the doctors and nurses around and to peek in between them and see all the wires and machine. Of course they explained to us that this was most likely to happened...but you arent never prepared. I felt a little down because I couldn't hold and take care of my son. His blood count was low so he had to have another blood transfusion which they stopped his feedings and have him on fluids. He is also under the light due to increased levels with jaundice. Yes...it was enough to drive me to cry and worry. However, I prayed over him and took a minute away to pray and read the Word. Luke 12: 22-34, God Asks can worrying add an hour to your life....and I had to remember that I turned my child over to God and was no need to worry. Plus with my sister Chantel support system just one call away...(thanks Tracy and Jennifer)....I was able to bounce back and strengthen myself with their words of encouragement.

Marcus and I are back at the hospital now and kaleb is doing better and hasn't had any spells. He blood gas count came down..which means that he is doing good on the vent and they can lower his settings. His jaundice levels have went down but he is still under the light. The docs will check his blood level in the morning and labs. We are so thankful that he is doing better and we know God is in control. It is an emotional roller coaster but I know we are on Gods thrill ride of life....would you trust him....we do!

Thanks for all the prayers......
