So far so good...
Kaleb has been off the ventilator over 48 hours and he is doing well so far....what a blessing.....The doctor said he looks great but he is having some dips in his stats due to having occassional mucus in the back of his throat. They want to see if he is able to get rid of it on his own with some help with suctioning. If that doesn't help they will introduce some meds to help out. Other than that he seems to be doing really well and keeping his weight at 1 lb and 10 ozs. The doctor is probably going to increase his calories to help with his weight gain but we are going to take it one day at a time. I'm thanking the Lord in advance for Kaleb's journey in the NICU....he is going to do well and be home soon!

Woot Woot Go Kaleb!!!! Keep getting stronger. I can't wait to hold you and spoil you!!! Your big brother will tell you your aunts allow you to eat cookies for breakfast.
