Kaleb doing well

Baby kaleb is doing good and getting plenty of rest...he is 1 week and a day old. He has had all his IV lines completely removed and doing great. He has had his food increased to 12 cc and is getting extra calories to help boost growth....his weight is maintaining at 1 lb and 9 ozs which is good since he isn't on fluids. Kaleb is also continuing to receive his daily intake of coffee to help stimulate his brain and help with his "spells". The nurses have notice that they usually occur after feedings and probably associated with him being full but he did receive a stool softener that has helped him have bowel movements. I got a chance today to change the first dirty diaper. Before I forget, kaleb gave me his first smile yersterday...it was too cute. I look forward to many more. Our little man is doing good and we look forward to many more milestones along the way.
